MindCheck is built on trust. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why, and what we will never do with it. Last updated: July 2026.
Your assessment answers are never stored on our servers. They exist only in your browser session and in the URL you're redirected to after completing the quiz. We do not create user profiles from your responses. We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers.
Assessment answers — processed in your browser in real time to generate your score. They are encoded in the results URL but not transmitted to or stored on MindCheck servers.
Demographic profile (race/ethnicity, age range) — selected voluntarily on the profile screen. Used only to personalise your question set and cultural tips within your session. Not stored.
Anonymous analytics — we use privacy-respecting analytics (no cookies, no fingerprinting) to understand aggregate usage patterns such as page views and session lengths. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Contact form submissions — if you contact us via the contact page, we receive your name, email, and message. These are used only to respond to you and are never shared.
Payment information — if you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a subscription status token only. We never see or store your card details.
MindCheck does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may set a single functional cookie to remember your subscription status if you are a paying member. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting the core assessment experience.
Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
Vercel — hosting. Server logs (IP address, request metadata) are retained for up to 30 days for security and error monitoring.
You have the right to request deletion of any personal data we hold (contact form submissions). You have the right to know what data we hold about you. To exercise either right, email us at privacy@mindcheck.app.
MindCheck is intended for users aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our service, please contact us immediately.
We will post any material changes to this page and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of MindCheck after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
