MindCheck is an educational self-reflection tool designed to help individuals explore and understand unconscious bias. It is not a clinical assessment, a psychological diagnosis, a legal determination of character, or a substitute for professional counselling or training.
Results are for personal growth and educational purposes only. They should not be used to evaluate, hire, discipline, or make decisions about any other person.
You must be at least 16 years old to use MindCheck. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.
Free users may complete a limited number of assessment questions per session. Paying subscribers ($2/month) receive access to the full 15-question assessment, dimension breakdown, monthly new assessments, and the complete cultural tips library.
Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again after cancelling. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at hello@mindcheck.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree not to:
All content on MindCheck — including question text, scoring methodology, cultural tips, illustrations, and design — is the property of MindCheck and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute it without written permission.
Cultural facts are sourced from publicly available research and credited to their sources. If you believe any content infringes your intellectual property, contact us at hello@mindcheck.app.
MindCheck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that assessment results are accurate, complete, or applicable to any specific situation. Bias is complex, contextual, and evolving — no short assessment can capture it fully.
We are not liable for any decisions made based on MindCheck results, including employment decisions, relationship decisions, or legal proceedings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MindCheck and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
This feature is provided as an educational prompt for personal reflection — not as a tool to generate evidence, accusations, or formal assessments of another person. Results from this tool carry no legal, clinical, or institutional weight. Using results from this tool to harm, defame, or discriminate against another person is a violation of these Terms and may expose you to legal liability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
We may modify, pause, or discontinue features of the service at any time. Where a feature you paid for is removed, we will offer a pro-rated refund.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
